PFI: ramen soup
Plain Food Institute: Ramen Soup

Here is a quick n’easy lunch treat from the PFI  Short Order Division.  Use any flavor of Tradition Ramen Noodle Soup. Serves up three hearty portions in less that 10 minutes, start to finish.

what you'll need

Before opening mash the block of noodles inside with your hand.

After opening, take out and toss out the flavor packet, which is why is doesn’t matter what flavor you buy.  The secret of proper tossing...it's all in the wrist.

Slice up an onion, a few stalks of celery, and chop a good handful of fresh (carefully washed) spinach.

Pour the broken-up noodles into ~ 3 cups of water and add a good slug of soy sauce.

Add the chopped vegetables to the pot.

Put on the fire to boil...

...until the noodles have doubled in thickness. It's ready!
