Make an ordinary glass vase extraordinary by taking a piece of elegant fabric and wrapping the vase. Use an oversized piece, the size of a tablecloth, turned face down, and draw it up around the vase. Secure at the neck of the vase with a ribbon, tied under the fabric near the neck of the vase. The fabric can puddle around the vase when set on the table or be spread out to augment the table setting.  An expensive way to get a large elegant looking piece of fabric? Purchase a sparkling, golden shower curtain. No one will ever know!
